Stored XSS via unsanitized product description
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Stored XSS in Creative Themes Blocksy Companion 2.1.45 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through product_description. Product Reviews saves the admin-supplied product_description post meta without sufficient sanitization and renders it in single-product views without adequate escaping. Editor-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; a visitor who opens an affected page runs the stored script.
