Weak password recovery in pravel Invoice Generator 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over arbitrary WordPress accounts. The unauthenticated pravel_invoice_change_password AJAX handler loosely compares an omitted reset_activation_code value with empty forgot_email user metadata, then accepts an attacker-selected reset_user_id and password. No prior access or user interaction is required, and accounts without prior recovery metadata, including administrators under normal conditions, can receive an attacker-chosen password.
