Authenticated private post disclosure via query injection
Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026
Sensitive information exposure in Smart Slider 3 3.5.1.37 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read nonpublic post content. The content AJAX path passes the attacker-controlled keyword into WP_Query without restricting post status or author, returning titles and full excerpts. Contributor-level access is sufficient because edit_posts exposes the required nonce on /wp-admin/post-new.php; the result is read-only disclosure of posts authored by any user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
