Authenticated code execution via unvalidated JNDI names
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
JNDI injection in IBM MQ 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4, and 10.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code on the application server. The Resource Adapter IVT message-driven bean uses insufficiently validated connection-factory and destination names in JNDI lookups, enabling attacker-selected object resolution. Exploitation requires authentication and a deployed, reachable IVT application; code runs with the application server process privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
