Authenticated PHP code execution via shortcode attribute
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
PHP code injection in Arnan de Gans AdRotate Banner Manager 5.17.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. The adrotate shortcode handler concatenates its unsanitized banner attribute into PHP code enclosed by W3 Total Cache mfunc or Borlabs Cache fragment markers. Contributor-level access is required, and the vulnerable path is reachable only when either cache integration is enabled; injected PHP executes on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
