CVE-2026-1222Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via web-shell upload

Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in Browan Communications PrismX MX100 AP Controller before 1.03.23.01 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The controller accepts a privileged user's uploaded web shell as executable server content instead of rejecting the dangerous file type. Administrative privileges are required; successful exploitation installs a server-side backdoor with arbitrary code execution.
