CVE-2026-12214Public exploit

Scheduled-task monitoring bypass via alternate RPC address

Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026

Protection mechanism failure in Qihoo 360 Total Security 6.0 allows local users to create scheduled tasks without Nucleus Engine alerts. The monitoring logic recognizes only an explicit localhost NetworkAddr in RpcStringBindingComposeW, although NULL or 0 reaches the same local SchRpcRegisterTask interface. User-level code execution is required; successful exploitation evades scheduled-task interception and permits task creation under the caller's allowed context.
