Authenticated command execution via unquoted nslookup target
Published Jun 14, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
OS command injection in Ruijie Networks RG-EG105G-P 2.340 allows remote authenticated users to execute shell commands via the diagnose API. The nslookup method in /cgi-bin/luci/api/diagnose inserts params.target into an unquoted nslookup shell command, so a newline starts an additional command. Administrator authentication and management-interface reachability are required; commands run as the EWEB/LuCI backend process, whose OS privilege level is unverified.
