CVE-2026-12168

SYSTEM privilege escalation via arbitrary kernel write

Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026

Improper input validation in Little Orbit GamersFirst Anti-Cheat through 2025-07-07 allows local users to escalate to SYSTEM. The GFAC_Sys_x64.sys driver uses an attacker-controlled destination address and data value from a Minifilter port message for a kernel-memory write. Any non-administrative local user able to connect to the exposed port can overwrite sensitive structures such as a process token and execute code with kernel authority.
