Stored XSS via unescaped configuration fields
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Stored XSS in Fortra File Integrity Monitoring before 9.4.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in Asset View. Affected node or database configuration fields retain script content, and Asset View renders it as HTML instead of escaping it as text. The attacker needs sufficient privileges to create or modify those fields; execution occurs in the security context of the displayed Asset View content.
