Stored XSS via unescaped avatar shortcode attributes
Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 18, 2026
Stored XSS in the SysBasics WooCommerce account plugin 4.3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The wcmamtx_get_avatar_default() function concatenates untrusted min_height, min_width, max_height, and max_width shortcode attributes into the get_avatar() extra_attr style value without sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes in a visitor's browser when an injected page is opened.
