Stored XSS via unencoded project titles
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Stored XSS in CodeAstro Human Resource Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through project titles. The /Projects/Add_Projects handler stores the protitle field without sanitization or output encoding, then renders it on project list and detail pages. Any authenticated user who can create a project can persist browser-executed JavaScript that runs when other authenticated users view the affected project.
