CVE-2026-12129Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated stored script execution via unencoded to-do input

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

Stored XSS in CodeAstro Human Resource Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in dashboard viewers' browsers. The to-do handler stores todo_data without sanitization or output encoding, then renders it in the dashboard, causing persistent JavaScript execution on each view. Authentication and a dashboard view are required; the confirmed consequence is attacker-controlled script execution in the viewing user's browser.
