CVE-2026-12119Network attack vector

Contributor-level file operations via shortcode authorization bypass

Published Jun 20, 2026 · Updated Jun 20, 2026

Missing authorization in Simple File List 6.3.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to perform arbitrary file operations. The frontmanage shortcode attribute exposes a nonce in a contributor's draft preview, and includes/ee-list-ops-bar-process.php accepts it without the intended capability check. Contributor-level access is required; successful requests can download, move, delete, or create files and folders managed by the plugin.
