Data retrieval and privileged actions via permissive CORS
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
CORS misconfiguration in IBM DevOps Deploy 8.1 through 8.1.2.6 and 8.2 through 8.2.1.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve data. The server's CORS policy accepts origins beyond trusted domains, exposing authenticated responses and privileged actions to untrusted web content. Exploitation requires user interaction while a valid Deploy session is available; consequences are limited to sensitive-information retrieval and actions permitted by that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
