Settings tampering via missing nonce validation
Published Jan 24, 2026 · Updated Jan 24, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in MAINICHI WEB Friendly Functions for Welcart 1.2.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings. The settings-page handler processes submitted configuration values without validating a WordPress nonce before writing them. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or submit a forged form, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized settings modification.
