CVE-2026-12068Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via cross-origin autofill field selection

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

Information disclosure in Avira Password Manager on Firefox allows remote attackers to obtain autofilled credentials through a cross-origin iframe. The Firefox extension's autofill logic selects a field inside the embedded frame despite its different origin and fills it with credentials intended for the parent page. Exploitation requires a user to trigger autofill on a page containing an attacker-controlled cross-origin iframe; Windows, macOS, and Linux are affected.
