Arbitrary code execution via unblocked sandbox interfaces
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Code inclusion in Foxit AI before 2026-06-15 allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via JavaScript embedded in a PDF. The PDF sandbox fails to intercept dangerous interfaces, permitting embedded JavaScript to load and execute scripts from a remote source. Exploitation requires the service to process the crafted PDF and run its embedded JavaScript; no account privileges are required.
