CVE-2026-12049Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Phishing redirection via unvalidated MFA destination

Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 18, 2026

Open redirect in pgAdmin 4 6.0 through 9.15 allows remote attackers to send authenticated users to an external site after MFA. The MFA validate and register endpoints redirect to the user-controlled next parameter without confirming that its destination shares the pgAdmin request origin. Exploitation requires an authenticated victim to follow a crafted link and complete MFA; the result is redirection to an attacker-controlled host for phishing, not access to pgAdmin or database data.
