Remote code execution via unauthenticated pickle deserialization
Published Jun 18, 2026 · Updated Jun 18, 2026
Remote code execution in pgAdmin 4 6.9 through 9.15 allows remote attackers to run code through unauthenticated SQL Editor routes. The close and update_connection handlers omit the login decorator and pass a session-stored command object to pickle.loads. Exploitation requires server mode, knowledge of the Flask secret key, and host write access to the sessions directory; code runs as the pgAdmin process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
