Privilege escalation in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.115 on Windows allows local users to gain OS-level privileges via a malicious file. The flaw resides in Chrome's Mojo IPC component, but Google has not disclosed the incorrect operation performed on the file or the affected code path. Exploitation requires user interaction with the file and can cross the browser's privilege boundary to obtain operating-system privileges.
