Unauthenticated payment bypass via unchecked success callback
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Missing authorization in KiviCare for WordPress 4.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to confirm appointments and forge payment records. The /payment-success REST handler accepts attacker-chosen appointment and payment identifiers, invokes KCPayLater, and writes a completed mapping without checking authorization or payment. A default installation is exposed because gateway resolution returns every registered gateway regardless of enabled status, leaving the manual gateway selectable.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
