Database disclosure via stored SQL injection
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
SQL injection in AF Themes WP Post Author 3.9.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database information via a post field. The post-saving path stores an insufficiently escaped wpma_metabox_authors_list guest-author token, which the Authors-column path later inserts into an unprepared SQL query. Author-level access is required to plant the token, and an administrator must subsequently load the post list to render the injected query result.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
