Session hijacking via missing OIDC cookie flags
Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026
Sensitive cookie exposure in TwiN Gatus 5.36.0 allows attackers to obtain an OIDC session identifier through an insecure session cookie. The setSessionCookie function in security/oidc.go sends the identifier without Secure or HttpOnly, permitting plaintext transmission and script access. Exploitation requires an HTTP interception path or script execution in the Gatus origin; replay grants access to protected dashboard data.
