Remote service interruption via insufficient request validation
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Resource exhaustion in IBM Verify Identity Access and IBM Security Verify Access allows remote attackers to interrupt service. IBM attributes the failure to insufficient validation of incoming request resources but does not identify the request handler, resource type, or exhaustion path. No authentication prerequisite is published; affected deployments can lose availability, but the disclosure does not distinguish a hang from a crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
