Stored XSS via unsanitized taxonomy term names
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Stored XSS in Drupal Tagify before 1.2.52 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through crafted taxonomy term names. The Tagify dropdown renderer inserts parent taxonomy term names into JavaScript-generated suggestion markup without sanitization. A role permitted to create or edit taxonomy terms can store a payload that runs in another user's session when the affected suggestion is rendered.
