Authenticated post disclosure via unchecked reusable-block ID
Published Jul 3, 2026 · Updated Jul 3, 2026
IDOR in Igor Funa Ad Inserter 2.8.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary post content through a shortcode. The replace_ai_tags() function passes the user-supplied {reusable-block-N} identifier to get_post_field() without checking read permission, post type, or status. Contributor-level access and a previewable post are sufficient to expose private, draft, pending, trashed, and password-protected posts owned by other users.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
