Stored XSS via unescaped date configuration
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Stored XSS in the Fluent Forms Date/Time field before 6.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in visitors' browsers. The renderer inserts the field's date_config value verbatim into the customConfig variable of an inline script without sanitizing or encoding it for JavaScript context. Exploitation requires delegated form-management permission and a site that withholds unfiltered_html, and the payload runs when any visitor, including an administrator previewing the form, loads it.
