Authenticated cross-tenant stack disclosure via missing RBAC
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Missing authorization in ZenML before 0.95.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other tenants' stack metadata via its API. GET /api/v1/stack-deployment/stack retrieves a deployed stack without verifying READ permission, then returns stack and service-connector details. Any authenticated account can cross tenant boundaries to obtain infrastructure topology, owner IDs, and deployment data; integrity and availability remain unaffected.
