CVE-2026-11858Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via unauthorized update methods

Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026

Local privilege escalation in Quanos SCHEMA ST4 on-premises allows local users to write or delete arbitrary files as SYSTEM. The Client Update Service exposes privileged Update() methods through a .NET Remoting named-pipe endpoint without access control or authentication. Local host access through an authenticated low-privileged account is required; cloud and SaaS deployments do not contain the update service.
