CVE-2026-11841Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file access via exposed HTTP directory

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Improper access control in SICK InspectorP6xx devices allows remote attackers to read and write sensitive files over HTTP. The AppEngine Fileaccess handler exposes a critical filesystem directory without authentication or authorization, including device parameters and the custom application directory. Any network client that can reach Fileaccess can alter settings, including customer-defined passwords, or place Lua code that executes inside the AppEngine sandbox.
