Administrator account creation via unrestricted role mapping
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Privilege escalation in Advanced Form Integration before 2.1.1 allows remote attackers to create WordPress administrator accounts. The Breakdance form handler substitutes an attacker-controlled public field into a WooCommerce Create Customer or FluentAffiliate Create Affiliate role mapping and passes it to WordPress user creation without a privileged-role allowlist. Exploitation requires Breakdance, one of those action plugins, and an active integration that maps Role or User Role to a public form field.
