Unauthenticated balance manipulation via unchecked AJAX update
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Improper access control in WP Swings Points and Rewards for WooCommerce before 2.10.1 allows remote attackers to alter any user's points. The wps_wpr_generate_custom_wallet AJAX action accepts attacker-chosen user_id and points values without authorization or ownership checks. No authentication is required; wallet corruption also requires Wallet System for WooCommerce, while points manipulation does not.
