Host secret disclosure via unrestricted SDS DataSources
Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026
Path control in DataSourceStream in LY Corporation Armeria 1.38.0 through 1.39.0 allows attackers to read host files and environment variables. The xDS module resolves filename and environment_variable fields from control-plane-delivered SDS Secret resources without an allowlist or base-directory confinement. Exploitation requires control of, semi-trusted access to, or a man-in-the-middle position on SDS responses, and exposes data readable by the client process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
