Improper input validation in NETGEAR R7000, RAXE500, and RS700 routers allows remote authenticated users to alter router software. NETGEAR has not published the affected management-interface locus or the validation error that accepts the unauthorized input. Exploitation requires administrator authentication and local-network access; the documented consequence is unauthorized modification of router software and functionality.
