Cross-site scripting in IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a console user's browser. IBM identifies the administrative console help system as the affected locus but has not published the input, endpoint, or missing neutralization operation. Exploitation requires user interaction and can expose or modify information available to the console session without interrupting the server.
