Sandbox escape via insufficient UI input validation
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Insufficient input validation in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.103 allows remote attackers to escape its sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies the UI as the affected component but has not published the input field, code locus, or validation operation that mishandles the crafted page. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled HTML, after which the escape crosses Chrome's renderer sandbox boundary and affects the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
