CSRF via GraphQL GET query acceptance
Published Jan 19, 2026 · Updated Jan 19, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Birkir Gudjonsson Prime 0.4.0.beta allows remote attackers to alter CMS data via GraphQL GET requests. The /graphql endpoint accepts query operations through GET requests, permitting a crafted cross-origin URL to execute with the browser's authenticated session. Exploitation requires a privileged user to follow or load the crafted URL; the published proof of concept demonstrates GET-query acceptance but not a specific privileged mutation.
