Sandboxed code execution via Network use-after-free
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome's Network component before 149.0.7827.103 allows remote attackers to execute code in its sandbox. Google identifies a use-after-free in Network but has not disclosed the affected function, object, or memory-lifetime sequence. A user must open a crafted HTML page; resulting code execution remains inside Chrome's sandbox, with no documented sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
