Use after free in Views in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.103 on Linux allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted extension. The Views component accesses memory after releasing it when the crafted extension reaches the affected path; Google has not disclosed the exact object lifecycle or named code locus. Exploitation requires a user to install the malicious extension, after which attacker-controlled code runs with the compromised Chrome process's privileges.
