Heap corruption via File Input use-after-free
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Use after free in File Input in Google Chrome before 149.0.7827.103 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via crafted HTML. The vendor identifies the File Input component but keeps the bug details restricted, so the freed object and stale-reference operation remain undisclosed. A user must open the crafted page; successful heap corruption enables confidentiality and integrity compromise or a browser crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
