Pre-auth RCE via unchecked token and JDBC URL
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Improper authentication in DTStack Taier 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands through a JDBC connection test. LoginInterceptor.preHandle accepts any nonempty token cookie without validating its signature, validity, or expiration, after which ConnFactory passes an attacker-controlled JDBC URL to DriverManager.getConnection without filtering dangerous parameters. No credentials or user interaction are required; a crafted PostgreSQL socketFactory URL can load remote XML and run commands with the Taier process's privileges.
