Stored XSS via unescaped fomo parameters
Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Trustindex Widgets for Google Reviews 13.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via admin settings. The fomo-title and fomo-text parameters are saved by the widget configurator and later rendered without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Editor-level access is required, and execution occurs only on multisite installations or where unfiltered_html is disabled when a user opens an injected page.
