Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026
Stored XSS in EON Tech EONSR AEO Agent 3.7.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to publish posts containing arbitrary web scripts. The scheduled-post REST handler performs no authorization check, disables WordPress HTML sanitization, and stores attacker-controlled content in an administrator-attributed published post. No authentication, nonce, cookie, Origin, or Referer is required in the default configuration; the script executes for any visitor, including administrators.
