CVE-2026-11576Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Device crash via unopened file-handle cleanup

Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026

Denial of service in Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo 6.4.2 through 6.5.0.202601 allows remote attackers to crash devices via malformed HTTP PUT requests. Early errors in the HTTP server PUT process reach put_process_end before a file opens, where fx_file_close() acts on an uninitialized handle. Exposure requires the NetX Duo HTTP server and its PUT handler to be enabled; a crash can require physical device recovery.
