Subscriber-level settings overwrite via unchecked update action
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Authorization bypass in Westguard Solutions WS Form LITE before 1.11.8 allows remote authenticated users to alter plugin settings. The wsf-settings-update action accepts a dashboard-exposed nonce and writes submitted settings without checking the caller's capability. Subscriber-level access is sufficient to replace reCAPTCHA keys, the IP-lookup URL, the Google Maps API key, and uninstall behavior.
