Database record exposure and alteration via unsanitized ID
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
SQL injection in /view_account.php in CodeAstro Payroll System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries. The account-update flow places the POST id parameter directly into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding, enabling time-based blind injection. A valid low-privilege session is required, and exploitation exposes or alters database records or delays database responses.
