Authenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda F451 1.0.0.7 and 1.0.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted POST request. The fromNatlimit function passes the user-controlled page value to sprintf, formatting it into a fixed 256-byte stack buffer without a length check. Low-privilege web-management access is required; exploitation can crash the router or run code with the web service's privileges.
