Authenticated device compromise via oversized SSID
Published Jan 19, 2026 · Updated Jan 19, 2026
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK LR350 9.3.5u.6369_B20220309 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the router via a crafted SSID. The setWiFiEasyGuestCfg function in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi accepts an oversized ssid argument and writes beyond its destination buffer. Low-privilege access to the network management interface is required; successful exploitation can expose data, alter router state, or interrupt service.
