Authenticated SQL injection via raw Name parameter
Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026
SQL injection in CodeAstro Leave Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter queries through the Name parameter. The /admin/search_staff_to_assign_pc.php endpoint inserts the POSTed value directly into a MySQL query without cleaning, validation, or parameter binding. Access to the administrative workflow and a valid session are required; crafted boolean-, time-, or UNION-based payloads can read or alter database data and interrupt service.
